Those with property in either Marshall or St. Joseph County SWCD can apply for help with the removal of invasive plants on 1 acre up to 20 acres of woodlands.
NRSC- EQIP program: covers the cost of removing invasive plants, cover cropping, native habitat, tree planting, drip irrigation, high tunnels, and MORE!
SICIM: free land surveys for homeowners to understand their property and provide customized plan for improving the native habitat.
Urban Soil and Health: Free soil health evaluation as well as ideas for how to create a more resilient, healthy, and productive farm.
Fish and Wildlife: Working with landowners to share the cost of establishing native habitats tailored to the landowners goals for conservation.
